Abstract

Tanjung Kalian Crossing Port, Muntok is a Crossing Port that serves the Tanjung Kalian - Tanjung Api-api track, managed by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Bangka Branch. This port is very closely related to improving the economy and the development of the Bangka-Belitung community, due to its role as the entrance gate for both trade and tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of land facilities such as the existence of Gangway and the placement of ticket sales counters for passengers in accordance with Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 29 of 2016, and Appendix II of the Directorate General of Land Transportation Regulation Number SK.2681 / AP / DRJD / 2006 regarding the operation of Crossing Ports on September 4, 2006, procedures for Service for Passengers. To improve the quality of service for users of port services, it is necessary to pay attention to the conditions of the existing port land facilities while the current conditions still have some disadvantages such as the absence of a gangway used for pedestrians to and from the ship so as not disturb vehicles that will or exit the ship, as well as placement of passenger counters that are not suitable so as to make passengers reluctant to buy tickets first which results when the ship is ready to load they are crammed to buy a ticket. The research method conducted for Primary data (Direct Data) is data obtained directly from the source or based on direct observations in the field, in obtaining primary data the author uses the Observation method. Secondary Data (Processed Data) is data obtained based on observations of other parties and in the form of reports in writing. Based on the problems we observed by analyzing the effect of the absence of a gangway and the incorrect placement of passenger counters, the port must adjust to the provisions made by the government. In accordance with the results of the analysis so that the Tanjung Kalian Crossing Port can operate in accordance with its function for the smoothness, safety and comfort of passengers using the port services.
