Abstract

Based on observations in the field, there are many passengers service facilities on board that are not in accordance with PM No. 62 of 2019 concerning minimum passenger service standards. Such as broken lifeboats, expired liferafts, passenger seats that do not comply with the rules, there is no room for breastfeeding mothers. The method used is by making direct observations on ferry transport vessels operating on the Hunimua – Waipirit route. However, after observing that there are still passenger services that are not yet available, inadequate facilities and the use of facilities are not optimal. Based on the results of the above observations, KMP. Terubuk, KMP. Rokatenda, KMP. Inelika, KMP. Cape Koako and KMP. Sardinela , there are no equality facilities for passengers with special needs, there is no passenger baggage available to place luggage, the light intensity is not enough, the passenger comfort facilities are not functioning, there is no security information available, there are no chairs with armrests in the nursing mother's room, and there is no ship voyage information. The result, after observing the level of service suitability is above KMP. Terubuk 52.94%, KMP. Rokatenda is 47.05%, KMP. Inelika 52.94%, KMP. Tanjung Koako 41.17%, KMP. Sardinela 47.05%. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and add equality facilities to make it easier for passengers with special needs on board, baggage procurement to facilitate the placement of passengers' luggage.
