Abstract

Tinjauan Kondisi Fasilitas Dermaga di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Kuala Tungkal Kodrat Alam, S.SiT.,MT1, Ferdinand Pusriansyah, S.SiT.,SH.,M.Si2, Fajar Shiddiq3 ABSTRAK Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Kuala Tungkal adalah pelabuhan penyeberangan yang terletak di kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi, dengan lintas penyeberangan Kuala Tungkal - Dabo Singkep dan Kuala Tungkal - Telaga Punggur. Pelabuhan ini dioperasikan oleh Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan diawasi oleh BPTD Wilayah V Provinsi Jambi. Kondisi fasilitas di pelabuhan sangat penting untuk dilakukan tinjauan dan dilakukan perbaikan berkala agar tidak mengganggu operasional pelabuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fasilitas dermaga berupa fender, bolder, catwalk serta berbagai upaya pemecahan masalah terkait kondisi fasilitas dermaga sesuai dengan ketentuan. Metode analisis yang dipakai berupa observasi, pengukuran dimensi fasilitas dan pasang surut air serta, wawancara kepada pihak operator kapal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi fasilitas dermaga dalam kondisi yang rusak dan belum adanya perbaikan serta perawatan dari pihak operator pelabuhan. Dengan demikian diperlukan upaya perencanaan fasilitas dermaga sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan perawatan berkala agar fasilitas dermaga senantiasa tahan lama. Kata Kunci : Tinjauan, Dermaga, Fender, Bolder, Catwalk. . ix Review of the Condition of The Pier Facilities at Kuala Tungkal Crossing Port Kodrat Alam, S.SiT.,MT1, Ferdinand Pusriansyah, S.SiT.,SH.,M.Si2, Fajar Shiddiq3 ABSTRACT Kuala Tungkal Crossing Port is a crossing port located in Tanjung Jabung Barat district, Jambi Province, with kuala tungkal crossing - Dabo Singkep and Kuala Tungkal - Telaga Punggur. This port is operated by the Transportation Office of Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency and supervised by BPTD Region V of Jambi Province. The condition of facilities at the port is very important to be reviewed and made periodic repairs so as not to interfere with port operations. This study aims to determine the condition of dock facilities in the form of fenders, bolders, catwalk and various efforts to solve problems related to the condition of dock facilities in accordance with the provisions. The analysis methods used are in the form of observations, measurements of facility dimensions and water tides as well as, interviews with ship operators. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the condition of the dock facilities is in a damaged condition and there is no repair and maintenance from the port operator. Thus, efforts are needed to plan the dock facilities in accordance with the needs and periodic maintenance so that the dock facilities are always durable.
